Beginner Wool Felting Kit | Make Felted Hearts

The Hearts Themed Beginner Wool Felting Kit is perfect for makers of all ages and crafting experience. Wet Felting uses your hands, wool, water and soap to create a flat felt fabric. No felting needles or fancy equipment is needed. Each Beginner Wool Felting Kit includes a complete instruction booklet teaching you how to make felted fabric. You will then use the template to cut out several heart shapes to embellish.

Supplies needed:

You will need a waterproof tray, such as a cookie sheet with small sides, warm water, hand soap, a couple of large towels, scissors to cut the paper template, and fabric scissors to cut the felt. As a fun option, you can use a sewing needle, the embroidery thread, and beads, to embellish your felted hearts.

How hard is it to wet felt?
It is easy and very beginner friendly. Even children will enjoy getting their hands wet and designing with the wool. In order to make the felting process happen you need warm water, hand soap, and a little bit of muscle. You will be rubbing the felt and then rolling it in towels. Take turns if you get tired, but it is a ton of fun!
